Meini Gwyr 'Leaning Stones' is a totally ruined embanked stone circle. This 60ft diameter circle stood within an embankement of 120ft diameter. To the west was a stone lined avenue 6ft wide. The original circle had 17 stones of which only two remain. It is located near the village of Llandyssilio East (SN142267) in Carmarthen. It was excavated in 1938 by Professor Grimes but all his records were destroyed by bombing during the last war.
