MEINI MEIBION ARTHUR

Meini Meibion Arthur viewed from the north.

Meini Meibion Arthur, 'The stones of Arthurs sons' is located below the Preseli Hills (SN 118 310) near Cwm Garw farm. These stones are aligned in an east-west direction pointing to the equinox sunrise. They are 9ft apart, the eastern stone is 8ft 6inches high, and the western one is 7ft 6inches high and is leaning to the north. These stones are said to mark the spot where the sons of King Arthur were killed by the boar Twrch Trwyth. I took a series of shots moving clockwise around the stones starting from the western side.
