Saith Maen 'Seven Stones' Stone Row is located on a bare limestone platform on the mountain (SN861145) above
the headquarters of the South Wales Caving Club at Penwyllt in the upper Swansea Valley. This stone row is made up of a series of large boulders and is orientated
26 degrees east of magnetic north. This is exactly the same alignement as another stone row also called Saith Maen on the other side of the valley which is visible with binoculars. The row has been disturbed with some of the smaller stones out of alignement. At the southernmost stone is a sub-row of two additional large boulders orientated South 72 degrees West. This smaller sub-row is aligned with a large boulder on the horizon 300yds to the northeast and a smaller one down the slope of the valley 100yds to the southwest. North of Saith Maen at a distance of 64 ft is a small row of four stones orientated east-west.
