MAEN CETI

Maen Ceti viewed from the southeast.

Maen Ceti also known as Arthurs Stone is located at an elevated position on Cefn Bryn north of the village of Reynoldston, Gower. This giant stone was probably a glacial erratic that has been undermined and supported by the stone uprights. It is surrounded by numerous small stones and sits in a bowl shaped depression. It is aligned in a northwest-southeast direction. About 300ft to the southeast is a large stone cairn.
The following series of photographs were taken moving clockwise around the stone.
