ELECTROSCIENCE

This site deals with research and reported experimental evidence for bio-electric and geo-electric phenomena. All living organisms are electro-chemical systems that produce an electromagnetic field. They live in an environment surrounded by electromagnetic fields both natural and man made. The inter-action between these fields can give rise to a range of phenomena. The effects of which we know very little. Most of these phenomena have been largely ignored by mainstream science or else treated as pseudo-science or parapsychology.



BIO-ELECTROMAGNETISM
The signals that our brain receives from the senses are electro-chemical in nature. Similarly the signals sent from the brain to control our muscles. This electrical activity results in the creation of an electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body that can be measured with sensitive devices such as SQUID magnetic detectors. It follows that natural and man-made electromagnetic fields in the surrounding environment could interfere with the signals being sent to the brain or from the brain. This could lead to hallucinatory effects, such as visions, sounds, smells or the sensation of being touched. Changes in body chemistry could also occur. Applying magnetic fields to the brain directly has already been shown to induce hallucinatory efffects.

  • Dowsing (bio-location)
    Dowsing or bio-location uses rods or a pendulum as a means of indicating the prescence of such things as water, minerals, and the earths energy fields. The human body acts as an instrument of detection. The technique has been known for thousands of years and has proven to be very effective. There is no magic behind the dowsing effect. The rods or pendulum respond to involuntary muscle movements initiated from the brain under control of the subconscious. The subconscious records information from several of our more subtle senses, such as the ability to sense very low magnetic fields. A sense found in most living organisms. Can anyone dowse? Yes, with practice, the more you practice, the better you become. Is the dowsing effect perfect? The answer is no. The ability to dowse can vary. There are times when even practiced dowsers fail to get a response, particularly when you are feeling tired or generally lacking energy. Scientists in Russia have been investigating the dowsing effect or bio-location as they prefer to call it for the past 30 years. They have conducted numerous scientific experiments and accept the dowsing effect as a scientific fact. So much so that it is taught in russian universities as part of geology and mining courses, particularly in the location of water, oil and other minerals.
    EXPERIMENTAL PROOF OF DOWSING
    Dr Zaboj Harvalik was for 25 years Professor of Physics at Arkansas University and a scientific advisor to the US dept of Defense. In 1968 he began a series of experiments to try and explain the dowsing effect. This experiment involved over 200 dowsers of variable dowsing ability. The experiment was conducted in a garden. First the area was swept with a sensitive magnetometer to ensure there were no magnetic anomalies present. Then two iron pipes each one metre long were driven into the ground approximately 30 metres apart. These pipes were then connected to a variable d.c. power supply. When the circuit was switched on, a current flowed between the iron pipes through the damp soil, creating a weak magnetic field. The current could be varied to as low as one microamp. A magnetometer was used to check the presence of the magnetic field each time the current was switched on. Dowsers were then asked to detect the presence of the magnetic field by walking with their rods between the iron rods. The circuit was switched on randomly so the dowser never knew if the circuit was live or what level the current was set at. 90% of the dowsers correctly detected magnetic fields as low as 0.000001 gauss, sensitivity began to drop off below this value , however one gifted dowser Wilhelm de Boer could detect fields as low as 0.0000000001 gauss, which is one billion times weaker than the earths magnetic field. How anyone can discriminate such a small magnetic field when surrounded by background magnetic fields created by the earth still cannot be explained. However it is thought that the brain can detect different characteristic magnetic signatures much as in the way we can pick out a distinct sound in a noisy room. It was also found that dowsers who drank two glasses of water before the experiment became more sensitised to the magnetic fields. Further experiments were carried out by shielding various parts of the body of the dowser with magnetic shielding material. The conclusion reached was that the dowsers magnetic sensor was located in the renal gland of each kidney. This was further confirmed by a Swiss dowser who lost his dowsing ability following an operation to remove his right kidney and renal gland. This experiment has shown that one of the dowsing effects is the ability to detect very low level magnetic fields. However there is much evidence which shows that this is one of many dowsing senses each using a different sense that supplies an input to the subconscious.

    NELYA MIKHAILOVA
    This lady was an ordinary Russian housewife who possesed the ability to move objects by will alone. She could make objects such as matches or cigarettes move on a table; a pitcher of water weighing one pound was moved: apples were seen to jump off a table; compass needles were made to change position: the yolk of an egg was separated from the white: the pendulum of a wall clock was also stopped. In the 1960's she was subjected to intense investigation by numerous Russian scientists under controlled experimental conditions to ensure that there was no trickery involved. Prior to the experiments which were all filmed, she was body searched to ensure that no hidden string or magnets were present. She passed all tests with flying colours. She was first investigated by Dr Vassili Efimov and following his death by a range of emminent Russian scientists. During the experiments she used up vast amounts of energy, her pulse rate soared to 250 beats per minute and she often lost several pounds in weight leaving her physically exhausted. It was noted that in stormy weather her abilities were dramatically reduced. Dr Genardy Sergeyev found that the back of Nelya's brain produced 50 times more voltage than the front compared to a normal human. This measurement has since been found in others with psychokinetic ability. During a PK session the rear part of her brain associated with sight, the visual cortex, showed tremendous electrical activity. The electromagnetic field surrounding her body began to pulse, brain and heart pulsed in synchronisation. This electromagnetic field began to extend in the direction of the object she was looking at and wished to move. Research into psychokinesis continues in Russia but is now conducted by military scientists, the results are inevitably being kept secret.

ELECTRO MEDICINE
The traditional western approach to the treatment of sickness and disease has changed very little in the last one hundred years, despite all the hype regarding medical breakthroughs. The solutions on offer from the medical profession are based mainly on the treatment of the symptoms of disease and tend to ignore totally the causes. Acupuncture forinstance has been known to man for at least three thousand years and is only now starting to be used as an effective treatment to a range of medical problems. But this is one of many alternatives to traditional medicine. If we are to solve the problem of sickness and disease then a revolution in thinking is needed to take medicine in a new direction.   • Bio-electric Wound Healing
    Experiments carried out by Foulds & Barker in 1983 found that the skin near wounds in mammals acted like a battery. D.C. currents in the order of microamps flowed through surface wounds resulting in electric fields in the order of 100V/m appearing at the edges of the wound. Further experiments carried out by Alvarez et. al. in 1983 proved that that the application of Electric fields accelerated wound healing.

  • Bio-electric Bone Healing
    Many experiments have been carried out on the use of electromagnetic fields to accelerate bone fracture healing. Barker & Lunt 1983 reviewed the progress to-date at that time. The most significant experiments were carried out by Bassett and his colleagues on 30,000 patients worlwide with 76% showing accelerated healing. Treatment sessions were 10 to 16 hours per day for up to 6 months with limbs restrained in a plaster cast. Electromagnetic fields were applied to the fracture with external electromagnets. The best results were obtained by fields rising linearly from zero to 1.5mT in 200 microsecs and then decaying back to zero in 28 microsecs. These pulses were repeated in 5ms bursts every 66ms. Success has also been claimed with other pulse forms.
